I will guide you in an emphatic and nonjudgmental way through this process.

This is a very frustrating situation. Although it’s ideal if you both come in together to solve your problems, I can certainly help you if you are willing to come in yourself. We may even be able to figure out some strategies to get your partner in with you.

Regardless, of what your spouse does or doesn’t do, you can get meaningful help. Furthermore, if your spouse just asked for a divorce, and refuses to try Discernment Counseling or marriage counseling, there may still be a lot you can do to help yourself, avoid making matters worse, and understand how you got to this place to begin with. Termed hopeful spouse counseling, or “couples therapy for one,” I’ll work with you as both coach and counselor to come up with a viable game plan.
